I am so excited that spring is almost here! As child, family, senior, and newborn photographer in Keller, TX I love watching the pear trees blossom with amazing white buds while the grass transitions from brown to green. It's a perfect time to book your outdoor sessions whether it be kids, family, maternity, or senior sessions.
One of the most common questions I get from clients is "What do I wear". There is no right or wrong way to dress for a photo session. They key is to coordinate but not match. You want to add dimension and interest to the photo, and if everyone has the same color, especially if it's white or black, it really takes away from the mood of the photo. Choose bold colors that coordinate, but stay away from crazy patterns. Choose outfits that will allow the family to look good together but that will also coordinate individually such as just kids, just dad with kids, just mom with kids, etc.
Another great idea is to dress in layers so there can be some variety in your session while not having access to a changing area such as an outdoor shoot. Dress comfortably, make sure everything is ironed before the session, and no eating or drinking, other than water, on the way to the session!
